Aims and objectives

The foundation is the holding company and single shareholder of the Congrégation des Soeurs Carmélites Tertiaires, which is the exclusive shareholder of ZithaKlinik S.A and ZithaSenior S.A.

The statutes of the Fondation Ste Zithe comprise of the following tasks and fields:

• Sponsorship of a hospital, retirement homes, residential care homes belonging to the ZithaGroup in Luxembourg.
• Healthcare provision in Africa, especially in Malawi: development work, prevention of malnutrition and famine and provision of education.
• Establishment and support of a religious and cultural framework for the elderly, abandoned or suffering people in Luxembourg and in Malawi.
• Education and trainings, based on Christian-Catholic ethics
